It’s already the end of October! Pretty soon it’ll be Christmas.
Now that my garden has a fence, I plan to be able to plant more winter veggies and lettuces. I thinned out quite a bit of beets, radishes, and lettuces yesterday, so I’ll have a nice little salad most of the week!
Here’s the breakdown:
Turnips: 5lbs
Turnip Greens: 7lbs
baby lettuce, beets, radishes: 2lbs
Eggs: 47
Farmer’s market still has a lot of zucchini, squash, okra (!!), peppers plus some greens. I”m so ready for cabbage, cauliflowers, and brussels sprouts. Yum, bring it on.

I just posted an end of month harvest total. Not much is growing, but its still more than July, August and September. I hope my beets grow. They are still so tiny.
Your turnips are doing really well
I need to plant some of those – maybe in the spring.
